■ HTML Studio Version 1.55 ■
Hello, and thank you for evaluating HTML Studio! This document
provides last minute updates, a list of new features, and a list of
bugs corrected since the last version.
■ Notes
If you are upgrading from HTML Studio 1.51 there is no need to delete
your HTMLSTUD.INI file, as the structure has not change. People
upgrading from 1.00, 1.01, or 1.50 must answer yes when the
installation program asks.
If pressing the Netscape update button ALWAYS loads a new copy of
Netscape (regardless of whether a copy is already running) then chances
are you have found a bug in IBM's fixpack 1. To correct this problem
replace the file PMDDEML.DLL from the fixpack back directory to
\OS2\DLL\.
If Lynx will not properly update your currently loaded document then
you must grab the latest version from www.cris.com/~djd/products.html.
The interim release, which works with HTML Studio, was placed on this
web site on May 13th 1997.
■ New features
The program now supports seamless Lynx integration. To configure Lynx
go to the WebWin notebook page, then to the Lynx subpage. There you
may set up the path and filename to Lynx, set it's update options, and
specify the command line options you wish to pass to it. You may also
add Lynx to your toolbar by right clicking the main toolbar, selecting
Create Item, and then choosing 'Cmd: UpdateLynx' as the action. A Lynx
button bitmap is included with those built into the program.
Quite a few of the dialogs in the program that use list boxes now give
you the ability to change an item in that list box. For example: If
you are creating a large ordered list via the List dialog and have
entered 15 items into it, you may now change the seventh (or any) item
in the list.
■ Bug fixes / Enhancements
The Netscape window is now given focus (brought to the foreground) when
the user manually updates it.
The built in preview window is now given focus (brought to the
foreground) when the user maually update it.
Fixed a problem with the Netscape window not getting updated when Form
Control items were added to the document.
The slashes in filenames are now passed in Unix format to Netscape and
Lynx.
