You should have the following files:
GOPHER.EXE -- the executable for the Gopher client
GOPHER.HLP -- the help file for Gopher
LICENSE.TXT -- the license agreement
GOPHER.ABS -- a very short description of Gopher
README.1ST -- this file
To use Gopher:
1) Ensure that you have IBM OS/2 TCP/IP Version 1.2.1 (or later), and
that your system is connected to a network with a Gopher server.
2) If you know the name of the Gopher server to which you'd like to
connect, type:
GOPHER name-of-server
3) If you want to connect to the default server (normally IBM's OS/2
Gopher server), just type:
GOPHER
4) Extensive online help is available. You must put the GOPHER.HLP
file into a directory on your HELP path; typically, you would put
it into the TCP/IP HELP subdirectory.
This version of Gopher is exactly the same as the version supplied with
the Bonus Pack in OS/2 Warp; it is made available for those users who
cannot yet upgrade to OS/2 Warp.
