  10. NOTE: If you are reading this from the INSTALL program's initial window,
  11.           please skip down to 'Running INSTALL.EXE'

  16. FTP-It! can be installed from either of two sources
  17.  
  18.     - The product diskette, available from BMT Micro
  19.  
  20.     - The installation ZIP, ftp-it.exe, that you can download from many of
  21.          the popular FTP sites
  22.

  26. If installing from the product diskette
  27.  
  28.     - Insert the product diskette in drive A:
  29.  
  30.     - Open an OS/2 command window
  31.  
  32.     - Type A: and press ENTER
  33.  
  34.     - Type INSTALL and press ENTER
  35.  
  36.     - Skip down to 'Running INSTALL.EXE'
  37.  
  38.   NOTE: IT IS IMPORTANT to enter A: and INSTALL as SEPARATE COMMANDS
  39.           PLEASE DO NOT ENTER A:INSTALL

  44. If installing FTP-It! from the installation ZIP that has been downloaded
  45.   into the temporary directory C:\TEMP
  46.  
  47.     - Open an OS/2 command window
  48.  
  49.     - Type  C:  and press ENTER
  50.  
  51.     - Type  CD \TEMP  and press ENTER
  52.  
  53.     - Type  ftp-it  and press ENTER to extract the installation files
  54.  
  55.     - Type INSTALL and press ENTER

  57.     - Skip down to 'Running INSTALL.EXE'

  62. Running INSTALL.EXE

  64.   At this point you should be reading this from the INSTALL program window
  65.  
  66.   - Click 'Actions' on the menu bar and then click 'Install Product'
  67.  
  68.   - Wait for the 'Installation directory' window
  69.  
  70.   - Change the destination drive and/or directory if you want to
  71.  
  72.      NOTE: PLEASE don't change anything else on this window
  73.  
  74.   - Press ENTER

  76.   - Verify the location of the installation files is correct, and
  77.      change it if necessary
  78.  
  79.   - Press ENTER and wait for installation to complete

  81.   - Press and hold ALT and press F4 to close the installation program
