Pardon the brevity, but I'm not much of a tech manual author.
Steps to connect to CRIS via Warp IAK software:
1. Get an access number (CRIS Customer Support 1-800-745-2747).
2. Call CRIS customer support (1-800-745-2747) and ask what the TCP/IP
addresses are for this number. They are all different.
3. Make a copy of CRIS.CMD and put it in a safe place.
4. Edit CRIS.CMD to change 'annex_address' and 'os2_address' to the
TCP/IP addresses you obtained from CRIS customer support.
5. Save CRIS.CMD to your /tcpip/bin directory.
6. Copy ALTPRO.CMD to your /tcpip/bin directory.
If you use a comm port other than COM2, edit ALTPRO.CMD to reflect the
port number that you use.
7. Open your Dial Alternate Provider Icon Settings.
8. Change Path and file name to ALTPRO.CMD
9. Change the Working Directory to \tcpip\bin
10. Save the changes.
11. Start that session by double clicking on the icon.
12. Select Add Provider

22. If you see no connection in 90 seconds, hangup and try again.
Hope this is useful to you. I know I am using the Internet more and more now
that OS/2 included Internet tools that are some of the best around. Ultimail
Lite has many bugs in it however, so I'm currently using Eudora for my
E-Mail.
Stay Warped!
