ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ 1. About... ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ
Version 1.1 - by Antonino Iannella, February 28th, 1997
Instructions
HTML ColourPlucker is a simple utility to find the right colour for HTML
documents, such as page backgrounds and text colours.
To find out what is the best colour for web page backgrounds, type your 6-digit
hexadecimal code in the space allocated for Red, Green, and Blue. The colour
will appear in the Current colour rectangle. The colour tried immediately
before will appear in the Previous colour rectangle. To see how the colours
compare to different text colours, choose an appropriate colour from the Text
colour selection. Use the pushbuttons as follows -
Try
This produces the current colour, from the numbers which appeared in
the R-G-B boxes.
Revert
This replaces your current set of colours with the previous set.
This is used when comparing colours, so you can find just the right
shade for you .
Pluck
When you have found your ideal scheme, plucking will copy the
colour to the clipboard to use in your HTML document. It will be in
the form COLOR="#RRGGBB" TEXT="#RRGGBB"
Attention - The background colour tag (according to HTML version
3.2) is BGCOLOR. Make sure you insert the BG before the rest.
