  4. Ok... here's the rest (bugs/suggestions). BX docs are pretty basic, so I
  5. just follow the 'hey, what does this button do?' thing. I could add some
  6. of the missing stuff to the help file- if I figure out what some of those
  7. '00ps' thingys do.

  10. RBIND ...seg faults. plain and simple.
  11. BIND (no params)  ... seg faults
  12. SET -REALNAME ... seg faults (known ircII bug)
  13. SET -SHOW_NUMERICS_STR  ...seg faults
  14. FTP  ... seg faults (SET to ncftp, didn't try with plain ftp)

  16. LUSERS ...BitchX type /about appears each time. How about making it appear
  17.  on startup or only following the MOTD
  18. DEOP ...darn, I'm used to DOP to deop and DEOP to deoper :P
  19. KICKIDLE ...just how idle is 'idle' and does it accept params (idle time)
  20. SHOWIDLE ...always shows you as being idle all the time you've been on the
  21.  channel

  23. Update IRCop count on status bar when you oper yourself.
  24. Seperate setting for exemption from flood control on the userlist. (like
  25.  letting someone flood without giving them userlevel 90)
  26. Variable for current server as there is for current channel (always wanted
  27.  that in ircII)
  28. Display of number of channel bans on the status bar without having to do
  29.  messy scripting
  30. Easy way to set topic on timer (for us lazy buggers who don't want to
  31.  script it ;)
  32. Important- better flood control. I invariably flood off killing large
  33.  numbers of clones with /whokill- hope masskicks don't cause the same
  34.  problem. Didn't have this prob using the whokill ircii script.
  35. Something to unignore the last ignore with no messy typing or interactive
  36.  unignore like in TBAN.
  37. Dunno if I've messed something up here, but incoming CTCP ACTIONs appear
  38.  the same, whether private(describe) or public.
  39. In UPTIME output, last msg/notice will be any PRIVMSG/NOTICE to/from you,
  40.  including CTCPs/CTCP replies. Seperate them?
  41. Autorename the logfile if a file with that name exists.
  42. Built in command for timed bans- can't live without it unless they replace
  43.  the limit of 20 bans in ircd.
  44. Leave the +fckrwhatever umodes off if the show* are set off and OV is also
  45.  off. That's a lot of unnecessary traffic if you don't want to see them.
  46.  Plus, they only generate error messages on servers which don't support
  47.  those umodes (using a 2.9.2 IRCnet server requires additional scripting
  48.  anyway since server notices look different)
  49. Extra bantype which will ban *@host. With dialup lamerz everywhere this is
  50.  an effective way to get rid of them without banning the site even if they
  51.  change usernames.
  52. And, of course, make SET SHOW_NUMERICS ON actually show numerics. :)

  54. Heh... looks like you've got your work cut out for you ;) We're never
  55. satisfied, are we? Whatever, BX -bugs or no bugs- sure is an improvment on
  56. plain ircii.
