  1. This is a port of the latest BitchX to OS/2 Console. (2-23-99)
  2.  
  3. Several environment variables should be set before running BitchX.
  4.  
  5. HOME = your home directory, where you will place scripts and other things.
  6.  
  7. USER = your username
  8.  
  9. IRCNAME = PMBX User's name
  10.  
  11. IRCNICK = PMBXUser
  12.  
  13. HOSTNAME = mycomputer
  14.  
  15. Scripts are located at scripts.bitchx.com. To install untar them into the
  16. HOME directory and /load them.  Also try /load bxmenu.bx for pull down 
  17. menus.

  19. What's new:
  20.  
  21. Fixed a bug in the status line.
  22.  
  23. Using new keybinding code.
  24.  
  25. Based on BitchX 75p2 (public) code, merged with main distribution.
  26.  
  27. I have created an XP-like interface in the source code to ease
  28. porting to other OSes.  A preliminary gtk port is available.
  29.  
  30. Some performance changes in the caching code.
  31.  
  32. Fixed a bug in $servergroup() which caused the script to screw up
  33. in the server menu server list.
  34.  
  35. Readded a couple patches that got missed in the last code merge.

  39. No OS/2 specific ones known at the moment.
