I run BINGRAB and get
BINGRAB v0.1a Newsgroup Binaries Grabber

A:
BinGrab version 0.1a could not find the .rc file you specified in the command line in the bingrab directory.
Check to see if the filename in the command line exists in the bingrab directory. Check spelling too.
A modification has been made to revision 0.1b to reflect this problem.

Q:
BinGrab version 0.2b has been running great in the past, but now seems to run real slow or lock up my system.
What is going on?
A:
In version 0.2b I implemented a duplicate subject filter. The subject of each message downloaded is stored
in a file called 'duplicates'. This file grows quite large and needs to be purged once in a while. The way I
purge the file is to delete the first half of the contents and save it. This way you still keep the most recent
downloads so the duplicate filter will still work for the most part. When you notice the slowdown, it's time
to purge the duplicates file. As an interm fix, I have replaced the nop function to a syssleep function so the
loop that waits for the dup file to be available won't hog cpu cycles and slow the search thru the dup file.
ps. I am working on an idea for a better duplicate checker. When I get it figured out I will encorporate it in
the next release.
