  1. WHAT IS IT
  2. This is an Apache webserver with support of JServ 1.1b1, without
  3. SSL, mSQL and PHP being compiled in, as some users have suggested.
  4.  
  5. INSTALLATION
  6. 1. You need to download file apacssl2.zip(in LEO archive) and to install
  7.    it. Then in the same root directory unzip this file: apacheJ.zip. 
  8.    Make sure dirs are maintained.                             
  9. 2. Your conf files are overwritten, you may be reqiured to modify them.
  10. 3. This package contains only Apache webserver(no SSL), while SSL version
  11.    is not allowed to upload here.
  12.    
  13. FILES IN THE PACKAGE
  14. 1. httpd.exe, httpd.cmd and libhttpd.dll in directory of \OS2Httpd\bin\nossl.
  15. 2. conf\*.*, the dir is in \OS2Httpd\conf.
  16. 3. jserv\*.*, These files are JServ 1.1b1 Java classes.

  18. NOTICE
  19. 1. Please see README.txt of ApacheSSL.
  20. 2. About ApacheSSL: Not all links of my test pages are working in the
  21.    apacssl2.zip. A few stuff such as servlets and JDBC drivers are not
  22.    included.
  23. 3. Several users encountered errors running this Apache server, mainly 
  24.    because of problems of file jserv.properties. YOU MUST STRIP CRs 
  25.    OFF FROM IT!!!
  26. 4. Known issues. 
  27.    -- Cocoon 1.4 will not work using JServ1.1,Cocoon 1.3.1 is ok.
  28.    -- Gsp does not work.
  29.    -- I compiled the dll version but it could not run as loadable module.
  30.    -- Others ?
