  5. This readme file contains information on how to install the Tseng ET6000
  6. Display Driver for OS/2

  9. This OS/2 driver supports adaptors and system boards that use the ET6000
  10. graphics controller.

  22. 1.0 System Requirements
  23.  
  24. Before you install the Tseng ET6000 Display Driver for OS/2, make sure that 
  25.     you have:
  26.  
  27.     1) Installed OS/2 WARP Version 3.00 or above
  28.     2) 8_MB of system memory
  29.     3) 2_MB of hard disk space on your Boot Drive
  30.     4) PKUNZIP.EXE (either OS/2 or DOS version)

  34. 2.0 PRELIMINARY STEPS
  35.  
  36.     1) Unzip the file OS2ET6.ZIP into a temporary directory on your
  37.        hard disk in order to get the following files:
  38.         ET6000.ZIP (driver ZIP file)
  39.         README.TXT (installation instructions)
  40.         README.1ST (this file)
  41.  
  42.     2) Change to the temporary directory and make the Tseng ET6000
  43.        Display Driver for OS/2 install diskette by running:
  44.  
  45.        [d:path] PKUNZIP -d ET6000 [d:]
  46.  
  47.         (where [d:path] is the drive and directory where your PKUNZIP
  48.          file resides, and [d:] is the drive that will contain
  49.          the install diskette.)

  51.      Example: C:\ZIP\PKUNZIP -d ET6000 A:

  53. 3.0 INSTALLATION
  54.  
  55.     1) Ensure all preliminary steps are completed from section 2.0 above.

  57.     2) Complete installation instructions are in the README.TXT file.
