  15.     The driver set consists of the following disk:
  16.  
  17.         - Display Driver Diskette  (volume label AVANCE)
  18.

  20.     INSTALLATION:
  21.     -------------

  23.     The OS/2 installation procedure is as follows:
  24.  
  25.     1- Under OS/2 desktop select icon: OS/2 System and then
  26.        icon: Command Prompts.
  27.  
  28.         2- Select OS/2 Window or FullScreen.
  29.  
  30.         3- Insert the driver diskette into the floppy drive. (e.g. drive A:)
  31.  
  32.         4- Change drive to A:, If you want to install from A: drive
  33.            and OS/2 is installed on C: then type "install a c" at A:prompt
  34.        This will load necessary files needed for OS/2 installation on
  35.        the hard disk.
  36.        Steps 1-4 are required only for the first time installation of
  37.        Avance Logic drivers. On subsequent installation of drivers
  38.        you may skip the steps 1-4.

  40.         5- The installation will install an Avance Logic icon in your
  41.            os2 desktop.
  42.  
  43.         6- After first time installation you just need to click Avance Logic
  44.            icon if you need to change resolution and refresh rate.
  45.            User will be prompted for Video Resolution and Refresh Rate
  46.            Selection Menu.
  47.            The yellow color highlight the resolution and green color highlight
  48.            the refresh rate.
  49.            You need to use left/right arrow key to choose resolution once you
  50.            decide resolution use up/down arrow key to choose refresh rate.
  51.            After decide the refresh rate just hit return key the os2 will
  52.            copy the necessory files and you don't need to insert the floppy
  53.            disk again.

  57.     NOTE:
  58.     -----

  60.     - Please note the volume label of "Display Driver Diskettes" are
  61.           "AVANCE".  If you make copies of the disk, make sure you give correct volume labels.  (Use
  62.       DOS command "LABEL" to change the volume label of a disk.)
  63.  
  64.         - It is important to note that you must load SVGA (Super VGA) drivers
  65.           before you change the Avance Logic different chipset video board.
  66.  
  67.         - To change to SVGA drivers just click Avance Logic icon the default
  68.           setting is VGA driver.
