  1. 32-bit OS/2 Display Driver Kit for Trident TVGA Series

  6. . This package contains 32-bit seamless 256 color drivers

  8. . The drivers are for OS/2 2.0 Service Pak (XR06055 level) only

  10. . About 512KB free space on your OS/2 partition will be used

  12. . Installation procedures (OS/2 PM and WinOS2 seamless)
  13.  
  14.         1. Install IBM OS/2 2.0 Service Pak XR06055 completely.
  15.  
  16.         2. Backup:      \OS2\SVGA.EXE
  17.                         \OS2\MDOS\VSVGA.SYS
  18.                         \OS2\DLL\BVHSVGA.DLL
  19.                         \OS2\DLL\DISPLAY.DLL
  20.                         \OS2\DLL\IBMVGA32.DLL
  21.                         \OS2\DLL\IBMDEV32.DLL
  22.                         \OS2\DLL\*.FON
  23.                         \CONFIG.SYS
  24.                         \OS2\MDOS\WINOS2\SYSTEM.INI
  25.  
  26.         3. Run TRID32.EXE (self-extract executable) to uncompress
  27.            the package.  Copy all files to a floppy.
  28.  
  29.         4. Run LABEL command to set the volume label of the floppy
  30.            as TRIDENT_32.
  31.  
  32.         5. Open an OS/2 protected mode session (windowed or full
  33.            screen).
  34.  
  35.         6. Insert the Trident 32-bit driver diskette in a floppy
  36.            drive and run
  37.                         INSTALL <drive>:
  38.            where <drive> is the drive letter of your OS/2 partition.
  39.  
  40.         7. Shutdown and re-boot OS/2.
