  1. PROS0297.ZIP contains the PROS/2 Newsletter for February 1997.
  2. PROS/2 is the official newsletter of the Tampa Bay OS/2 Users'
  3. Group (TBOUG).  The newsletter is provided in the following formats:
  4.  
  5. PROS0297.TXT - in ASCII text format, suitable for display with
  6.                your favorite editor.
  7.  
  8. PROS0297.INF - In INF format suitable for viewing with the
  9.                standard OS/2 "View" utility (VIEW.EXE).
  10.                From the command line, sImply type:  
  11.                VIEW PROS0297.INF
  12.  
  13. FILE_ID.DIZ  - Used by BBS Sysops to describe the newsletter. 
  14.  
  15. NOTE:  Windows users can now view INF files using the new
  16. INF Viewer from SingaLab Pte. Ltd. of Singapore.  Patterned
  17. after the OS/2 VIEW facility, the Windows version provides the 
  18. same functionality.  The utility can be freely obtained from a 
  19. variety of sources:
  20.  
  21. *  Look for WIN_INF.ZIP on most computer networks and bulletin
  22.    boards.
  23. *  A copy of the product is available in IBM's Hyperwise 
  24.    (see LIBIPFX.EXE).
  25. *  Use the version of the product accompanying "Just Add OS/2
  26.    Warp" (see VIEW.EXE).
  27.  
  28. Also, IBM PC DOS 7 users can view it under DOS (without pictures)
  29. using the VIEW.EXE supplied with that OS.
