README FILE FOR APAR JR08103 (CM/2 1.11)

This fix may also be applied to the CM/2 1.1 (BASE) product

This file contains IMPORTANT INFORMATION on how to apply the
fix for APAR JR08103

+-------------------------------------------------------------------+
This FIX may be applied after the following CSDs:
YES/NO
CM/2 1.1 Base: _YES_
CM/2 1.11 CSD: _YES_
The PARTS LIST is as follows:
SHIPPED (fn fx)
JR08103.PKG
The JR08103.PKG is really a *.ZIP file so you may follow the instructions
below without a problem.
(1) Completely stop CM/2 (including ACSRASP.EXE, which will stop
automatically with CM/2 if no traces are active and there is
no trace data in the buffer).
PLEASE NOTE! It may be simpler to boot with an OS/2 install diskette
to use the following process. Unless ALL CM/2 functions are stopped,
the PKUNZIP2 procedure will not be able to replace the files.
(2) Erase or backup (rename) the ACSRASTD.INI file.
(3) Copy the JR08103.PKG to the CMLIB subdirectory.
(4) Run PKUNZIP2 -d -o JR08103.PKG. This will overwrite the files
that need to be replaced, and make sure that they go in the
right places.
(5) Restart CM/2. Tracing will not be available until CM/2 has been
started once (as always).
This fix has been tested on OS/2 2.1 and 2.11, with CM/2 1.1 and 1.11.
