  2.                     Readme file for set2_1.exe

  4.     This program is a patch for users who had 2.00.1 (preload) on their
  5.  system and then installed 2.1.
  6.  
  7.      If Dspinstl.exe is run from the command line it reads the os2.ini file
  8.  and sees an entry indicating that the system is a preload system.
  9.  Dspinstl.exe then sets the default source path to C:\OS2\INSTALL\DSPDRVS.
  10.  If the user doesn't change the source to A:, Dspinstl.exe tries to install
  11.  using the files located in \os2\install\dspdrvs. These files in the dspdrvs
  12.  directory are incompatible with 2.1
  13.  
  14.      If the machine is no longer a preload system, this program updates the
  15.  OS2.INI file by deleting the entry listed below:
  16.  
  17.              Application : DSPINSTAL
  18.              Key name    : DSPINSTAL_PRELOAD_SOURCE
  19.              data        : C:\OS2\INSTALL\DSPDRVS
  20.  
  21.      This entry only exists on preload systems and should not exist if a later
  22.  version of OS/2 is installed and the preload environment has not been restored.
  23.  The user can restore their machine to a preload system by running the program
  24.  plinst.exe.
