1. Introduction.
If you're using the NPSWPS program with the "Window Shadow" effect enabled,
you'll notice that the standard OS/2 icons on the desktop lack the same
"3-D" feel. Well, in a few mins. I have added a shadow to the default OS/2
icons, so if you don't feel like loading and editing icons, you can add
these icons to your system. Feel free to distribute this .ZIP file, as long
as it is unmodified and includes this text file.
The most important are the "OS/2 System" folder, the "Templates" folder,
and the Folder objects, as these are "animated" icons and the ones which
are usually on your desktop by default.
I have also included a pair of bitmap files showing my Warp Connect
desktop(s) with NPSWPS running as an example. Notice the shadow below the
clock, the launchpad, and the FOLDERS. (The bar that appears at the bottom
is PM Patrol, a *great* utility, try it!).
Also included is a pair of "Network CD" icons that have no shadow, but
might be useful to Sysops which have CD-ROM unit(s) on a peer network like
me.
2. Installation
You only have to UNZIP the .ICO files in a directory of your choice, open
it from the drives folder so all the icons can be seen.
Then, right click on your original objects and select the "General" tab.
You can now DRAG the new shaded icon from the directory folder and DROP
it over the "Current Icon" area.
Note that on all animated icons, you will have to repeat this process
again on the second page of the "General" tab, to change the animation (or
"open view") of the icon.

Well, no more talk. Enjoy the icons!.
