  7. All 222 Icons included here (32x32 pixels, 16 colors) can be used for any
  8. Windows 9x/NT/2000/ME/XP/3.1x application/game/directory/folder shortcut,
  9. internet/URL/remote link, program group, menu item etc, or for your favorite
  10. DOS programs/games started from custom PIF shortcuts (MS-DOS Program
  11. Information Files) in protected Windows DOS sessions/boxes.

  33. * To change a shortcut/link/folder icon in Windows 95/98/NT4/2000/ME/XP/.Net:

  35. 1. Right-click on the Desktop, Start Menu or Explorer icon you want to
  36. change.
  37. 2. Click Properties.
  38. 3. Select the Shortcut tab.
  39. 4. Click Change Icon.
  40. 5. Click Browse to search your drive(s) for the desired icon or icon library:
  41. .CPL, .DLL, .EXE, .ICL, .ICO etc.
  42. 6. Highlight a file and then double-click on it to select.
  43. If an icon library contains more than one icon, browse to the icon of your
  44. choice, and then double-click on it to select.
  45. 7. Click OK/Apply twice to save your changes.

  47. * To change a Program Manager group/item icon in Windows/WfWG 3.xx + NT 3.xx:

  49. 1. Click once on the Program Manager icon you want to change.
  50. 2. Click on File from the Program Manager menu.
  51. 3. Click Properties.
