  4.   DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES.  The following OS/2 printer driver is
  5.   created by IBM Corporation.  The driver is provided "AS IS", without
  6.   warranty of any kind.  IBM shall not be liable for any damages
  7.   arising out of your use of the driver, even if they have been
  8.   advised of the possibility of such damages.

  10.   NOTE: This driver is the same driver that is shipped with OS/2 1.3.

  12.   BEFORE INSTALLATION
  13.   -------------------
  14.  
  15.   The Extended Attribute file (.EA) for the driver must be attached
  16.   to the actual driver file (.DRV) so installation of the driver
  17.   will succeed.  This is done by using the EAUTIL.EXE program that
  18.   is part of OS/2.
  19.  
  20.   Use the EAUTIL from the command line as follows:

  22.       EAUTIL IBM3852.DRV IBM3852.EA /J /O
  23.  
  24.   Or use the command file (.CMD) provided to do this for you.

  26.   Once, this is done successfully you may proceed with normal
  27.   printer driver intallation as documented in OS/2.
