  13. 1. The following command line option for the
  14.    LAN Connection Utility (REDIRECT.EXE) may not be
  15.    described within the Planning and Installation Guide:
  16.  
  17.         -NR
  18.          This option may be used to prevent the LAN Connection Utility
  19.          from routing a Broadcast query for existing 4033s across
  20.          any bridges whenever the Network Printer Adapter Utility is
  21.          first invoked or subsequently directed to perform a Refresh.
  22.  
  23.          This results in display of only those 4033s which are on the
  24.          local network.

  27. 2. For certain customer applications it may be useful to install and
  28.    use the 4033 utilities on a non-server workstation.  In this case
  29.    the following OS/2 environments are supported in addition to those
  30.    listed in the Overview section of the Planning and Installation Guide:

  32.         - IBM OS/2 SE 1.3 with Extended Services or LAN Requester
  33.  
  34.         - IBM OS/2 2.0 with Extended Services or LAN Requester

  43. REDIRECT.EXE has been slightly modified to prevent possible hangs
  44. on OS/2 1.x systems when reporting status to Print Manager.

  46. LPTX1496.SYS (renamed to LPTX.SYS by INSTALL on OS/2 2.x systems)
  47. has been updated to eliminate desktop hangs when one or more
  48. redirected printers have an IR condition.
  49.  
  50. LPTX230.SYS (renamed to LPTX.SYS by INSTALL on OS/2 1.x systems)
  51. has been updated to prevent system lockups when changing DOS Timeouts
  52. in Print Manager.
