  9.     You are free to use,  modify, and adapt the code as you would like. Possible adaptations are to other host environments, e.g., VM/ MVS, that use the SEND/RECEIVE commands under OS/2.
  10.     Contents: this program contains executibles that can run as is. It also contains source code that can be viewed using the VX-REXX product (2.1B).
  11.     Description: This program is an example of executing various host commands, such as VSE POWER and VSE librarian commands on a VSE host from a point-and-click interface running on OS/2 (WARP). Setting up the host environment is described for the VSE environment in the VSE/ESA Programming and Workstation guide V1.3. It is designed to be run on a WARP machine using Communications Manager.
  12.     You can still run the example programs to see how the interface works, as well as how the caommands are executed. However, the commands will then not work and a pop-up panel will display asking if you wish to cancel the command.
  13.     Installation:
  14.     1). copy the file RUNVSE.CMD to your C:\ directory.
  15.     2). copy the runtime DLL required by all (non/SQL) VX-REXX programs to a directory in your LIBPATH (probably C:\ would be fine if you installed WARP onto C:\)
  16.     3). place the program executable (VSECOM3.EXE) whereever you like.
