VNWLOGIN.EXE is a simple program to login users to Netware without having to use the complicated NWTOOLS or resote to the ugly command line. LOGIN.EXE MUST be in the path. This is version 1.0, a no-frills version. It is totally free. There is no warrenty that it works. If it breaks, you own both parts. VNWLOGIN.EXE can be distributed for no more than the resonable cost of distribution thru electronic services or diskettes. It cannot be included as a part of another application for which there is a fee (although it can be distributed with other programs for which only the distributing fee is charged) without the express written permission of the author. My wife is a lawyer, so watch out! VNWLOGIN version 1.0 is militantly free!
The next version will support multiple servers, configurable screen placement, and error recovery. Also planned is VCAPTURE, a printer interface for WPS and Vzip, a PM interface for PKzip. Don't wait up nights though, it isn't the highest priority in my life.
VNWLOGIN is written in VisPro REXX by Hockware. VP/Rexx can stand some improvements, but for $299 it brings much-needed event-driven, GUI-interface Rexx programming to OS/2.
