  4. This archive contains a REXX extension DLL that must be called from within
  5. a Presentation Manager process executing the REXX interpreter. The suggested
  6. run-time environment is VisPro REXX, but the source code is included if you
  7. want to try your hand at making it work with VX-REXX or Gpf REXX.

  9. The code is freeware. You may give it away but you may NOT sell it. If you
  10. make any changes to it, please mark them clearly in the revised source code;
  11. it might be courteous to update the documentation too. The code was originally
  12. compiled using IBM C Set ++ 2.01; compatibility with other compilers could be
  13. a crap-shoot, but I have kept the code as ANSI-standard as I could without it
  14. becoming convoluted. I believe it is 100% SAA standard, plus the OS/2 API.

  16. The documentation is supplied in IBM Works word processor format, in the file
  17. DWNVPRX.LWP. It was prepared using the PostScript fonts Times New Roman and
  18. Courier, so it should be printable on any laser or ink-jet printer and on most
  19. good quality dot-matrix printers.
