DBStatus 1.0
------------
This is Freeware. It would be nice to get a picture postcard
from anybody using this software.
I do not guarantee anything concerning the usability of this software.
DBStatus uses the REXX interface (SQLAR.DLL) to DB2/2 to gather some
interesting data.
As it stores some initialisation data in OS2.INI it needs REXXUTIL.DLL
somewhere in the LIBPATH, too.
I don't know whether it works with something else than
- OS/2 Warp FixPak 10
- DB2/2 1.20 WR07047
but maybe you can let me know.
Start DBStatus from the CommandLine.
Type in the name of the database to check.
NOTE: I know it's a PITA, but after every keystroke in the DB Name field
the software will try to get the state of a corresponding DB.
You need to be logged on as DB admin.
This tool has been developed with the wonderful DrDialog tool written
by David C. Morrill in 1993.
It still works. I hardly know any bugs. It even works with Object REXX (Beta).
I do not know why this tool is not distributed together with Warp. I got it
from the IBM OS/2 Developer Connection CD.
