These files use the RexxUtil functions to perform a timed startup of
the TCP/IP interface and utilities. I found that on occasions, the
WPS would have trouble starting, and that normally hidden objects
would end up minimized on the desktop if they started too soon
In addition, the SNMP daemons would end with an error message
if TCP/IP had not fully started.
In order for the alternate startup to function, a folder containing
program reference objects which point to the crucial parts of TCP/IP
must be created. The BUILDTCP.CMD is cut and pasted together
from samples originally found on IBMLink, and authored by Mike Lamb.
In addition, It contains the few lines of REXX code used by the TCP/IP
CSD CMDs to locate and extract the path from the ETC environment
variable.
Finally, the BUILDRTR.CMD adds a couple of additional objects to a
folder called routers which execute telnet for connection to some of our
Wellfleet routers.
These are *Very* rudimentary, but I hope that they help in setting up
TCP/IP.
