  15. RexxNews v 1.0a is a simple NNTP based newsreader for OS/2 2.x.
  16.  
  17. It requires rxSock from the IBM EWS Program.

  19. RexxNews's features include:

  21. *  Reading news articles from an NNTP server with OS/2 2.x
  22. *  No limit on article size or number of articles in a group
  23. *  Can use a Unix .NEWSRC file to ease transition to RexxNews
  24. *  Able to save articles to a file.
  25. *  Able to search header fields and group list for specified strings.
  26. *  Uses an external customization file.
  27. *  Paging that understands formfeeds
  28.  
  29. Targets for later releases include:

  33. ROT13 decryption
  34. NEXTGROUP/LASTGROUP commands to implement subscribed groups
