AN EVENING WITH JOHN SOYRING
John Soyring, Director of Software Development Programs,
IBM's PSP Division, has been associated with OS/2 development
and marketing for more than eight years. John will be describing
the role that the OS/2 Warp family of products plays in the
overall IBM software strategy. He will also describe the key
technologies that IBM and business partners are developing
for future releases of the OS/2 Warp family.

THE GAMMATECH UTILITIES, plus several new OS/2 products
from SofTouch Systems, Inc. of Oklahoma City, OK:
Felix Cruz from SofTouch's Workstation Division will
demonstrate GammaTech features: Optimize FAT and
HPFS volumes, Fix partitions, Mark bad sectors, Virus
protection, Backup OS/2 INI files/the OS/2 desktop/
hard disk boot sectors, Edit sectors, etc., etc. Following
that, he will describe their more recent works, especially
FileStar/2 for OS/2. FileStar/2 is a robust graphical
file manager which includes archiving facilities as well
as the ability to support just about any editor, browser
and viewer.

Directions : From Route 128 (Int.-95) southbound -take
Route 30 exit; go straight across Route 30 at traffic
lights at top of ramp; street becomes South Street at
Weston-Waltham line; proceed across railroad tracks and up
hill; campus is on the left.
From Route 128 (Int-95) northbound -take Route 30 exit;
turn left at top of ramp onto Route 30;
turn right at traffic lights; proceed across Weston-Waltham
line; over railroad tracks; Brandeis is on the left.
From Massachusetts Turnpike eastbound -take Route 128-
Route 30 exit; after tollgate, follow signs to Route 30; at
top of ramp, left on Route 30; right at lights.
From Massachusetts Turnpike westbound -take Route 30-
Weston exit at 128 interchange; after tollgate, proceed
straight, right at top of ramp and right at trafffic
lights; left at next set of lights.
Free Parking : Bear left at the main entrance and follow
the OS/2 Users' Group Signs.
Commuter train service is available from Boston's North
Station to the Brandeis/Roberts Station which borders the
campus.
