  6.                           for OS/2 DEVELOPER

  8. San Francisco, September 1, 1994 - The publishers of OS/2 DEVELOPER 
  9. announced today the launch of a regular OS/2 development tool review 
  10. column by Guy Scharf.  
  11.  
  12. Beginning with the January/February 1995 issue, Scharf will review 
  13. software development tools from the perspective of a professional 
  14. software developer building software solutions on OS/2.  "We will give 
  15. developers an inside look at tools which could enhance their 
  16. productivity in writing high-quality software" says Scharf.  "The OS/2
  17. market is growing quickly, so we will provide an important information 
  18. source for developers who need to use OS/2 programming tools to reduce 
  19. software solution delivery time."

  21. Guy Scharf, a programmer since 1963, is president of Software 
  22. Architects, Inc., a development company specializing in OS/2 software 
  23. solutions.  Scharf manages the OS/2 Vendor Fora on CompuServe, is a 
  24. co-founder and treasurer of the OS/2 Bay Area User Group, is the 
  25. founder and past president of the Silicon Valley Chapter of the 
  26. Independent Computer Consultants Association, and wrote the Advanced 
  27. PM Programming column for "OS/2 Monthly" in 1992.

  29. With a circulation of +36,000, OS/2 Developer is the only publication 
  30. written for OS/2 development professionals, providing them with
