  1.   HOCKWARE ANNOUNCES NEW VERSIONS OF VISPRO/REXX, VISPRO/C AND VISPRO/C++

  3.   CARY, N.C., February 28, 1995 -- HockWare, Incorporated today announced the availability of
  4. VisPro/REXX_ Gold 2.11,  VisPro/REXX_ Bronze 2.11, VisPro/C_ 1.01 and  VisPro/C++_ 1.01. All four 
  5. products  allow application developers to quickly develop OS/2 graphical user-interface (GUI) programs utilizing a 
  6. rich selection of GUI programming objects and drag and drop programming.

  8.   Both VisPro/REXX Gold and Bronze have an improved UI and new features for manipulating window frames.  
  9. They include a more intelligent event editor, as well as the ability to plug in any editor for editing events. Both include 
  10. a code template generator that allows users to include their favorite code segments for easy reuse. Graphical push 
  11. buttons are also supported. VisPro/REXX Gold includes many improvements to the container and notebook objects.

  13.   The new price of $59 for VisPro/REXX Bronze makes it the lowest-priced OS/2 visual programming tool 
  14. available. The ability to create small (<100K), stand-alone .EXE program files makes this a very attractive offering.  
  15. Compatibility with VisPro/REXX Gold and the VisPro/REXX Data Entry Object Pack make it an ideal entry-level 
  16. product.

  18.   VisPro/C and VisPro/C++ both include many code generation improvements based on recent customer feedback. 
  19. In addition, VisPro/C now supports generation of code for MetaWare's HighC compiler.

  44.   Suggested retail pricing for VisPro/REXX Bronze 2.11 is $59. VisPro/REXX Gold 2.11 is $299. VisPro/C and 
  45. VisPro/C++ are $399 each. The VisPro Development Suite, which includes VisPro/REXX Gold, VisPro/C and 
  46. VisPro/C++ is priced at $599. Pricing for VisPro/REXX Gold LAN version is available for networks with 5 or more 
  47. users (call for pricing). For a limited time, new customers who purchase VisPro/REXX Gold will receive for free, 
  48. VisPro/Reports, the first programmable, REXX-enabled report writer for OS/2. VisPro/Objects is free upon request to
