  32. The DCF/2 is an "on-the-fly" data compression
  33. facility which allows you to increase the effective
  34. data storage capacity of your OS/2 computer system.
  35.  
  36. Using the DCF/2, you can expand your available hard
  37. disk space - an average of 2.5:1 for typical user
  38. file mixes.

  40. If you have used traditional "on-the-fly" data
  41. compression products -- get ready!  The DCF/2 is
  42. unlike anything you've used before.  You don't need
  43. to commit yourself or your entire system to data
  44. compression in order to try it.

  46. DCF/2 "Virtual Disk Units", or VDUs, are High
  47. Performance File System (HPFS) formatted compressed
  48. storage devices which are actually stored on your
  49. existing disks.  Any OS/2 disk can be used,
