  3. offer for the new OS/2 <<R>> version of its leading object-based  
  4. spreadsheet, Mesa <<TM>>.

  6. Athena Design, Inc. will offer the Mesa 2 Personal Edition <<TM>>  
  7. spreadsheet at a special $99 introductory price. This offer will be  
  8. good for a limited time only. The specially priced package comes with  
  9. 90 days of free technical support via electronic mail or fax, and a  
  10. discount on future upgrades. Users can take advantage of the special  
  11. introductory offer by calling 1-800-315-MESA.  Personal Edition users  
  12. who want to have the Mesa 2 users' manual available in addition to  
  13. the on-line help may order the printed copy from Athena Design for an  
  14. additional $19.95.

  16. Mesa 2 is a powerful, full-featured, 32-bit, native OS/2 spreadsheet  
  17. application. It takes advantage of OS/2 features, including SOM,  
  18. OpenDoc (when available), multi-threading and the Object-Oriented  
  19. User Interface.  In addition, Mesa 2 will include an object library  
  20. so that customers can integrate Mesa objects into their own  
  21. line-of-business applications.

  24. with the first spreadsheet on the market to compete with Lotus 1-2-3

  36. Edition provides increased functionality and features for enterprise  
  37. users, including a special adapter that allows Mesa to access SQL  
  38. databases, an enhanced object library, a floating license manager and  
  39. telephone technical support.
