  15. TITLE      IBM LAN DISTANCE FAMILY OF PRODUCTS
  16. ABSTRACT          The IBM LAN Distance family of products provides the
  17.            capability of extending the "Office LAN" to remote users.  Using dial
  18.            connections (asynchronous, synchronous, ISDN or X.25), remote users
  19.            can access LAN (Ethernet or token ring) resources, as if they were
  20.            physically connected to the LAN.
  21.                   LAN Distance consists of two components:
  22.            o   The IBM LAN Distance Connection Server for OS/2 (R) provides the
  23.                security and routing capabilities that allow remote personal
  24.                computers to access LAN resources.  The Connection Server
  25.                requires OS/2 2.0 (or later) and can coexist on the same personal
  26.                computer with other applications such as IBM LAN Server, IBM
  27.                Communications Manager/2 or IBM Database Manager/2.
  28.            o   The IBM LAN Distance Remote for OS/2 provides the support for a
  29.                remote personal computer to dial either the Connection Server or
  30.                another remote personal computer and establish a LAN session.
  31.                The LAN Distance Remote product requires OS/2 2.0 (or later).  An
  32.                additional feature allows the LAN Distance Remote workstation to
  33.                be shuttled between being LAN-connected while in the office and
  34.                being remotely-connected while traveling.

  88.            ICA is not required.  The Proof of Additional License certificate has
  89.            its own part number and feature number.
