  15.      Roy, Utah, May 7, 1990 -- Users who want the power of
  16. the OS/2 operating system environment can now use Bernoulli
  17. mass storage products, Iomega Corp. announced today.  The
  18. Bernoulli for OS/2 software attachment package includes both
  19. device drivers and utilities for complete support of the
  20. OS/2 operating system.
  21.      "OS/2's multi-tasking and large memory capabilities in
  22. the 386 desktop environment are driving strong demand for
  23. higher capacities and reliability in mass storage," said
  24. Fred Wenninger, Iomega president and CEO.  "OS/2 users
  25. quickly find that fixed disks alone are inadequate to meet
  26. the needs for both data growth and data protection."
  27.      "During pre-release product testing, we learned OS/2
  28. users experience an explosion in data storage requirements.
  29. They need at least two to four times more storage than they
  30. needed with DOS," added Steve Powell, Iomega product
  31. manager.
  32.      In addition to high speed and capacity, Bernoulli's
  33. unique technology resists head crash, utilizes 15 times
  34. better electronic data protection, and automatically
  35. replaces marginal sectors, all of which are critical to
  36. providing security for OS/2  users data.
  37.      The company's Bernoulli for OS/2 drivers attach to the
  38. system through the loadable device driver interface and
  39. provide full support for removability.  The drivers conform
  40. fully to OS/2 specifications for attachment;  any Bernoulli
  41. device supported by the drivers attaches as a normal OS/2
  42. device.
  43.      The Bernoulli for OS/2 drivers and utilities are
  44. available immediately.  The suggested retail price is $99.00
