  4.   PRODUCT NAME: The Developer Connection for OS/2                                                                                   
  5.                                                                                                                                     
  6.   ABSTRACT:                                                                                                                         
  7.                                                                                                                                     
  8.   The Developer Connection for OS/2 is an annual membership program                                                                 
  9.   that   delivers   the   most   current  information,  tools,  and                                                                 
  10.   pre-release code available from IBM to developers in  support  of                                                                 
  11.   continuing application development on the 32-bit OS/2 platform.                                                                   
  12.                                                                                                                                     
  13.   The  cornerstone  of  the  Developer  Connection is the Developer                                                                 
  14.   Connection CD, which is delivered four times a  year  to  program                                                                 
  15.   members.      The   CD   contains   pre-release-level   code  and                                                                 
  16.   release-level code; the initial 1993  CD  provides  release-level                                                                 
  17.   versions  of the Developer's Toolkit for OS/2 2.1, which includes                                                                 
  18.   the Multimedia Presentation Manager Toolkit/2 1.1,  and  the  Pen                                                                 
  19.   for OS/2 Toolkit 1.0.  Softcopy documentation, including the OS/2                                                                 
  20.   Technical  Library,  is also provided.   Members also receive the                                                                 
  21.   Developer Connection News, a newspaper which accompanies  the  CD                                                                 
  22.   and  delivers  the most up-to-date information about IBM personal                                                                 
  23.   operating systems direction,  operating  system  extensions,  and                                                                 
  24.   development   products.    The  Developer  Connection  News  also                                                                 
  25.   provides useful programming tips and other technical information.

  27.   Introductory product prices will be in effect for  the  Developer                                                                 
  28.   Connection  for  OS/2  through  November  30,  1993.   Registered                                                                 
  29.   members of the E/ME/A  Developer  Assistance  Program  (DAP)  may                                                                 
  30.   purchase the Developer Connection for OS/2 at very special prices                                                                 
  31.   (lower  than the general introductory prices) when they order the

  377.   Defect support  is not  provided for  pre-release-level programs.                                                                 
  378.   Customers may obtain  technical assistance for  pre-release-level                                                                 
  379.   programs  by  using  CompuServe  and  accessing  the  forum named                                                                 
  380.   OS2DF2.

  382.   Defect  support  is   provided  for  release-level   programs  in
