========================================================================
PRODUCT NAME: The Developer Connection for OS/2
ABSTRACT:
The Developer Connection for OS/2 is an annual membership program
that delivers the most current information, tools, and
pre-release code available from IBM to developers in support of
continuing application development on the 32-bit OS/2 platform.
The cornerstone of the Developer Connection is the Developer
Connection CD, which is delivered four times a year to program
members. The CD contains pre-release-level code and
release-level code; the initial 1993 CD provides release-level
versions of the Developer's Toolkit for OS/2 2.1, which includes
the Multimedia Presentation Manager Toolkit/2 1.1, and the Pen
for OS/2 Toolkit 1.0. Softcopy documentation, including the OS/2
Technical Library, is also provided. Members also receive the
Developer Connection News, a newspaper which accompanies the CD
and delivers the most up-to-date information about IBM personal
operating systems direction, operating system extensions, and
development products. The Developer Connection News also
provides useful programming tips and other technical information.
Introductory product prices will be in effect for the Developer
Connection for OS/2 through November 30, 1993. Registered
members of the E/ME/A Developer Assistance Program (DAP) may
purchase the Developer Connection for OS/2 at very special prices
(lower than the general introductory prices) when they order the
product through IBM SPC Direct Services.
