  3. This course teaches the student how to plan for and install the OS/2
  4. version 2 base operating system.
  5. It will also discuss the utilization and design of the OS/2 Base Oper-
  6. ating System. The internal operating structure along with tuning tips
  7. are also presented. Also covered are the customization and setup of
  8. Window/DOS applications, printer setups and migration considerations.

  10. After completing this course, you should be able to:

  13.       from a technical support perspective
  14.   --  Install an OS/2 operating system
  15.   --  Answer questions about OS/2 installation requirements
  16.   --  Answer questions concerning the performance of OS/2
  17.      and HPFS (High Performance File System) options for disk management
  18.   --  Configure and add Windows/DOS applications
  19.   --  Customize and tune OS/2 system files for optimum performance
  20.   --  Create and use printers
  21.   --  Run DOS or Windows programs using the Multiple DOS Virtual
  22.       Machine (MDVM) feature
