MORE TCP/IP CLASSES SCHEDULED DUE TO POPULAR DEMAND!

WHAT'S NEW? Due to the overwhelming request for TCP/IP education,
the Multi-Vendor Networking Curriculum is proud to
announce additional classes that have been opened for
two TCP/IP classes.
ABOUT Gain hands-on experience in the configuration of IBM's*
G3787: TCP/IP products and their connectivity to local IBM and
remote non-IBM computing networks. You will configure and
operationally verify the following IBM TCP/IP platforms:
VM, MVS, OS/2*, OS/400*, DOS, and AIX*. You will also
validate TCP/IP connectivity to the following non-IBM
systems: DEC**, SUN**, and HP**. Novell** TCP/IP
connectivity options are covered in lecture. Connectivity
is provided by Ethernet** and Token-Ring LANs, 3172
Interconnect Controllers, and RISC System/6000s.

ABOUT Learn basic TCP/IP Architecture and how to implement
G3788: TCP/IP on IBM MVS and VM systems. Actual configuration of
MVS and VM TCP/IP is taught via lecture and hands-on lab.
(You will work on the platform of your choice.) Important
TCP/IP concepts such as addressing, naming, routing, and
subnetting are explained and reinforced in the labs. The
TCP/IP core applications, File Transfer Protocol (FTP),
Simple Mail Transfer Protocol (SMTP) and TELNET are also
included in the course; you will implement the applications
on the platform you choose.
