  11. REXX Symposium for Developers and Users

  17. The REXX Symposium provides a forum for information and ideas and
  18. an opportunity to interact personally with others interested in
  19. advancing the use of REXX to perform computing tasks.
  20.  
  21. The symposium consists of plenary sessions, parallel sessions, and
  22. poster sessions for contributed papers, status reports, review talks
  23. and summary talks.  Presentations focus on using REXX on a wide
  24. variety of computing platforms and operating systems.  Of particular
  25. interest are unique applications, REXX tools and function libraries,
  26. REXX interfaces with other languages, user support, and education.
  27. The symposium promotes the exchange of technical ideas concerning
  28. systems, techniques, ideas, or initiatives using REXX.  Author Mike
  29. Cowlishaw will be present and participate in the sessions. We
  30. anticipate that writers of all known REXX implementations will
  31. participate.

  33. Abstracts of proposed contributions should be clear and approximately one
  34. page long.  Talks should be 20 to 45 minutes.  A paper may be
  35. submitted to serve as a poster session only (that is, pages of
  36. paper pinned to a wall to be read individually).

  49. Contributors will be informed of acceptance no later than
  50. 1 February 1992.  Symposium proceedings will include all invited
  51. talks and contributed papers.

  53. Special hotel rates and air fares have been negotiated for this
  54. symposium if reservations are made through Village Travel in Palo
  55. Alto, CA by January 15, 1992.

  57. Fee schedule:
  58.          Conference    -  $200, includes three meals and proceedings
  59.          Lodging/Night -  $85 single ($98 double) includes breakfast
  60.  
  61. Registration is required.  A non-refundable deposit of US$50 is
