  1. OS/2 LS 1.X to 2.0-Entry No-Charge Upgrade and Distributed

  4. DESCRIPTION
  5.  
  6. Customers who acquire any release of IBM Operating System/2
  7. (OS/2) LAN Server Version 1.x before April 24, 1992, can receive
  8. at no charge:
  9. o   Upgrades to IBM OS/2 LAN Server Version 2.0-Entry
  10. o   "Proof of License for Distributed Feature" certificates for
  11.     LAN Requesters
  12.  
  13. HIGHLIGHTS
  14.  
  15. Customers will receive the following:
  16. o   One complete IBM OS/2 LAN Server Version 2.0-Entry package
  17.     containing diskettes and documentation.
  18. o   One IBM OS/2 LAN Server Version 2.0-Entry "Proof of
  19.     Additional License" certificate for the balance of the
  20.     quantity of IBM OS/2 LAN Server Version 1.x being upgraded.
  21. o   "Proof of License for Distributed Feature" certificates for
  22.     LAN Requesters.  Certificates received will equal in number
  23.     the IBM DOS LAN Requesters (up to a maximum of 128 per OS/2
  24.     LAN Server license being upgraded) and/or the Version 1.x
  25.     Extended edition licenses currently in use in support of IBM
  26.     LAN Server products.

  28. CRITERIA
  29.  
  30. Customers must acquire this upgrade on or after April 24, 1992,
  31. but no later than August 24, 1992.  Information on how to acquire
  32. the upgrade will be provided in the availability Announcement
  33. Letter scheduled for April 24, 1992.
