  8.                   Under the Terms and Conditions, Program Services section, the

  11. ABSTRACT          The IBM M-Control Program/2 Version 2.01 update provides
  12.            extensions to the Multimedia Presentation Manager/2 (TM) (MMPM/2) for
  13.            the IBM M-Motion Video Adapter/A and supported videodisc players.
  14.                   These extensions enable end users and application developers
  15.            to take advantage of analog video windowing and image capture
  16.            capabilities not currently available in MMPM/2.
  17.                   The M-Control Program/2 Version 2.01 update provides:
  18.            o   A Video Overlay media driver to access both the motion and still
  19.                video functions and the video windowing capabilities of the
  20.                M-Motion Video Adapter/A under MMPM/2.  The Video Overlay media
  21.                driver also enables still video image capture and restore from a
  22.                variety of image file formats.  This media driver supports both
  23.                the high-level (string) interface and the low-level (message)
  24.                interface.
  25.            o   Amplifier-Mixer (Amp/Mixer) media driver to access the analog
  26.                audio functions of the M-Motion Video Adapter/A under MMPM/2.
  27.                This driver also supports both the string and message interfaces.
  28.            o   User interface controls, in the form of buttons and sliders, for
  29.                controlling audio and video attributes and videodisc players.
  30.                These controls are Common User Access (TM) (CUA (TM)) compliant
  31.                and can be integrated into any MMPM/2 application to handle all
  32.                user interaction and device control.
  33.                   Customers who have the IBM M-Control Program/2 Version 2.0
  34.            (04G3544) licensed program are entitled to a Version 2.01 no-charge
  35.            update, as stated in Programming Announcement 291-592, dated
  36.            October 17, 1991.

  64.            AVAILABILITY AND DISTRIBUTION
  65.            The M-Control Program/2 Version 2.01 update is only available as a
  66.            no-charge update.  Customers must have an M-Control Program/2
  67.            Version 2.0 licensed program to be eligible for this no-charge
  68.            update.  Refer to Programming Announcement 291-592, dated
  69.            October 17, 1991, for more information on ordering the M-Control
  70.            Program/2 Version 2.0 program package.
  71.                   Licensed Version 2.0 customers are required to provide Proof
  72.            of License.  If the IBM M-Control Program/2 Version 2.0 Registration
  73.            Card has not been returned, one of the following is required for
  74.            Proof of License:
  75.            o   Photocopy of the front cover of the IBM M-Control Program/2
  76.                Version 2.0 Multimedia Toolkit for Microsoft (1) Windows (2) book
  77.            o   Photocopy of the three diskettes included in the IBM M-Control
  78.                Program/2 Version 2.0 package.
  79.                   All requests for the M-Control Program/2 Version 2.01
  80.            no-charge update must include the following:
  81.            o   Company name
  82.            o   Company address
  83.            o   Contact name
  84.            o   Complete telephone number
  85.            o   Proof of License  (if Registration Card has not been returned)

  153.            INSTALLABILITY:  The Version 2.01 update is customer installable.  An
  154.            installation utility and appropriate documentation are provided.
  155.            PACKAGING:  The Version 2.01 no-charge update consists of two
  156.            3.5-inch 2MB diskettes with documentation.
  157.                   The M-Control Program/2 Version 2.0 program package (04G3544)
  158.            includes a sticker on the shrink-wrapped box that describes the
  159.            availability of the Version 2.01 no-charge update.  For more
  160.            information on the M-Control Program/2 packaging, refer to

  166.            LICENSING:  The Version 2.01 no-charge update is licensed under the
  167.            terms and conditions of the IBM Program License Agreement included
  168.            with the IBM M-Control Program/2 Version 2.0 licensed program.
