OS/2 LAN SERVER FOR MACINTOSH
You can summarize the benefits of OS/2 LAN Server for Macintosh in a
single word.... sharing. It will enable Macintosh and PC users to share
the valuable printers and file servers on a network. It can help people
work more effectively by facilitating the exchange of ideas through joint
access to data files and more efficient use of shared resources.
OS/2 LAN Server for Macintosh is a software system that enables DOS and
OS/2 based PC users and Macintosh users to work together on the same
network. It is a file server and print server that runs on any OS/2
based PC with OS/2 Lan Server. Lan Server for Macintosh runs on the
server. Client code is not effected.
LAN Server for Macintosh uses the AppleTalk Filing Protocol (AFP) to
enable sharing of files by Macintosh users on an OS/2 LAN Server network.
It also enables printers to be shared by AppleTalk and OS/2 LAN Server

on an OS/2 LAN Server network, and PC users can access printers on an
