  7.     Golden CommPass Version 3.0 Now Available

  9. MT. LAUREL, NJ -- April 9, 1998 -- Creative Systems 
  10. Programming Corporation is pleased to announce the release 
  11. of Golden CommPass version 3.0.  Golden CommPass is an OS/2 
  12. navigation program designed to automate access to the 
  13. CompuServe Information Service.

  15. This new version provides support for CompuServe's 
  16. Host-Micro Interface (HMI), the New Information Systems 
  17. Architecture (NISA) Forums and personal addresses 
  18. (alphanumeric user ids).  The Forums notebook has been 
  19. redesigned for easier use and a customizable, graphical 
  20. button bar has been added to every window.  It is now 
  21. possible to access up to 200 forums.  Native TCP/IP support 
  22. has been added for users that have a TCP/IP connection to 
  23. the Internet.

  25. Due to time constraints and other factors, Golden CommPass 
  26. 3.0 will not include a printed manual.  Any users 
  27. interested in a printed manual may contact customer support 
  28. and express their interest.  If there is sufficient demand, 
  29. a printed manual may be produced at a later time (for an 
  30. additional charge).

  32. Golden CommPass version 3.0 will only be available via 
  33. electronic distribution from the Golden CommPass Support 
  34. Forum (GO GCPSUPPORT) on CompuServe beginning Monday, April 
  35. 13, 1998 at 10:00 am EDT.  Orders for the new version will 
  36. not be accepted prior to Monday, April 13, 1998.

  38. The suggested list price for Golden CommPass has been 
  39. reduced to $59.  Registered users of Golden CommPass 
  40. version 2.2 may upgrade to version 3.0 at a special reduced 
  41. price of $29 until May 1, 1998.  Users that participated in 
  42. the special advance purchase program may upgrade for a 
  43. special price of $19 until May 1, 1998.  All other users 
  44. can upgrade to version 3.0 for $39.  After May 1, 1998, the 
  45. upgrade cost is $39 for all users.

  47. All orders must be placed directly with Creative Systems 
  48. Programming Corporation.  Orders should be sent to customer 
  49. support at 71511.151@CompuServe.com or by calling 
  50. 609-234-1500.  Complete billing information (including Visa 
  51. or Mastercard credit card number and expiration date) is 
  52. required to purchase an upgrade.
