  17. We invite submissions of original work to the ACM 1992 Conference
  18. on Computer Supported Cooperative Work (CSCW '92). CSCW is the
  19. melding of communications and computing technology to support
  20. work and other activities in groups varying in task, size,
  21. permanence, and structure. CSCW is interdisciplinary, with
  22. participation from computer science, behavioural, social and
  23. organizational studies, and practical management and engineering
  24. disciplines.
  25.  
  26. Theory and research in computer and communications systems, on
  27. the  nature of group and organizational work, and on the
  28. development and use of CSCW systems are appropriate for this
  29. conference. The theme of CSCW '92 is Sharing Perspectives.
  30. Contributions that demonstrate links between technological and
  31. behavioural perspectives, between design and use of systems, or
  32. between theory and experience are especially appropriate.

  34. Possible topics include, but are not limited to:

  36. Q Contributions to general theories of coordination
  37. Q Empirical studies of cooperative work practices
  38. Q Experiences with technology for cooperative work
  39. Q Computer or communication-based environments that support   
  40. cooperative work
  41. Q Architectures for computer or communication-based systems   
  42. for cooperative work
  43. Q Methodologies and/or systems for the analysis of cooperative   
  44. work practices.

  59. GENERAL SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS

  62. A standard cover sheet is required for all submissions. It must
  63. contain:

  65. Q Category of submission (paper, panel, tutorial, demonstration,  
  66.  video, or workshop)
  67. Q Title
  68. Q Name, affiliation, addresses (physical and electronic), and  
  69. telephone numbers of all authors
  70. Q Name of primary contact person.

  72. Submissions must be in English and abide by the additional 
  73. SPECIFIC SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS for their respective categories.
