  6. LAN Automated Distribution/2 (LAD/2) Release 4.0 is now available
  7. worldwide!  LAD/2 is an AISPO* product which provides an easy solution
  8. for installing operating system and application software on clients
  9. in a network environment.  Not only have enhancements been made to
  10. the original LAD/2 interface to the LAN CID Utility (LCU), LAD/2 now
  11. provides an interface to the NetView* Distribution Manager/2 product as
  12. well.  The interface to NetView DM/2 allows users to perform unattended
  13. installations, schedule distributions and utilize more advanced logging
  14. and systems management features provided by NetView DM/2.  Also, if
  15. NetView DM/2 is used in conjunction with NetView DM for MVS, software
  16. distribution and tracking can be performed centrally from the MVS host.
  17. This new release also comes with a new, user-friendly installation
  18. program that allows you to easily install, migrate or remove LAD/2
  19. from your hard disk.  Finally, LAD/2 Release 4.0 is capable of handling
  20. any NDIS compliant adapters that are supported by Network Transport
  21. Services/2.

  24. following CID-enabled products:

  27. o  Network Transport Services/2 (NTS/2 LAPS)

  33. o  NetView Distribution Manager/2
