ABOUT THE
COURSE: This course teaches experienced C language programmers
to use the C+ programming language in the OS/2 environment.
It covers the constructs of language including templates
and exception handling. The course focus is on the C++
language itself rather than on object-oriented design.
Extensive exercises on the IBM PS/2 with OS/2 are used
to reinforce the lecture materials.
PREREQS: Before taking this course, you should be able to write
programs in the C language using structures, pointers,
and dynamic storage. These skills can be developed by
taking C Language Fundamentals (K3604) and C Language
Data Structures (K3605).
This course is also the a prerequisite for P1067
OS/2 V2 Presentation Manager Programming Using C++.
