TITLE IBM TECHNICAL CONNECTION PERSONAL SOFTWARE
ABSTRACT If you are an end user, developer, and/or help desk
administrator who needs immediate and comprehensive access to the
latest in service and product support information, IBM Technical
Connection Personal Software may be the right solution for you.
Think of the IBM Technical Connection Personal Software as a
unique reference library of OS/2 (R), DOS, and LAN technical and
service information. Then consider the benefit of periodic CD-ROM
updates giving you current information on demand.
IBM has consolidated the variety of media and sources of
information used by its service and support specialists, and
delivered that information on an easy-to-use media. Using the CD-ROM
media, you can find an answer quickly and easily because of the way
the data is structured.
The information is organized into seven databases including
AskPSP, OS/2 APARS, compressed corrective service, reference and
diagnostic diskettes, technical bulletins, device drivers, and
product information.
The cornerstone of the Technical Connection is AskPSP, a
case-based expert system tool, used in identifying solutions to
OS/2 and LAN problems. AskPSP facilitates interactive exchange and
dynamically establishes potential solutions to your problem -- in
essence, becoming your "personal help desk" without your ever having
to pick up the phone.
As a bonus, with the initial purchase of the IBM Technical
Connection Software, a copy of the CD-ROM containing the OS/2
Collection, over 275 books for a variety of OS/2 products, will also
be shipped to you.
