  3. TITLE      IBM IMAGEPLUS/2 UPGRADE PROMOTION
  4. ABSTRACT          For a limited time only, selected customers with IBM ImagePlus
  5.            (R)/2 can acquire IBM ImagePlus VisualInfo (TM) Library Server for
  6.            OS/2 (R) and VisualInfo Object Server for OS/2 for a one-time charge
  7.            (OTC) of $1,500 each.  These participants must have acquired IBM
  8.            ImagePlus/2 with a Date of Installation (as defined in the IBM
  9.            Customer Agreement) occurring on or before March 1, 1994.
  10.                   Participants acquiring IBM ImagePlus/2 with a Date of
  11.            Installation occurring after March 1, 1994, but no later than
  12.            October 11, 1994, can only acquire IBM ImagePlus VisualInfo Library
  13.            Server for OS/2 for an OTC of $5,530 under this promotion.
  14.                   All orders under this promotion must be placed on or before
  15.            August 1, 1994.  The Date of Installation for either server must
  16.            occur no later than October 11, 1994.
  17.                   Commercial, state and local government, and education
  18.            customers are eligible to participate in this promotion. Federal
  19.            government customers should call 800-333-6705 or 301-564-7970 to
  20.            determine eligibility.

  27. OVERVIEW   ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
  28.            With the addition of the VisualInfo Client software, an ImagePlus/2
  29.            customer can start using the new product functions and migrate their
  30.            current ImagePlus/2 applications to VisualInfo.
  31.                   The IBM ImagePlus VisualInfo set of client/server products
  32.            offers extensive growth options for current ImagePlus/2 customers who
  33.            want to expand beyond a single OS/2 LAN environment.
  34.                   Customers who wish to get started with an advanced document
  35.            management system prior to the general availability of VisualInfo for
  36.            OS/2 can acquire an ImagePlus/2 system; the cost of the server and
  37.            five workstations will be applied toward the OTC for VisualInfo for
  38.            OS/2.
  39.                   All ImagePlus Version 1 customers of record will receive a
  40.            copy of ImagePlus/2 Version 2 at no additional charge upon its
  41.            general availability (scheduled for September 30, 1994).
