TITLE COOPERATIVE COURSEWARE: MORE FOR YOU IN OS/2 2.1 -- COMPUTER-BASED
TRAINING
ABSTRACT More for You in OS/2 (R) 2.1 is a computer-based training
course recommended for anyone who is new to OS/2 2.1, including users
experienced in previous releases of OS/2 or with the Windows
operating environment. The course is designed for three different
audiences and provides a different learning path and learning
objectives for each audience. The audiences addressed are:
New OS/2 users with some PC or workstation background, perhaps
with DOS, but no prior experience with OS/2
Experienced OS/2 users with experience with a previous
OS/2 release, OS/2 1.3, OS/2 2.0, or both
Experienced Windows users with experience running
applications in the Windows operating environment under DOS, and
will now be running applications in the WIN-OS/2 (TM) environment
under OS/2
To run this course, OS/2 2.1 must be installed. However, the
various functions and exercises the student performs are entirely
simulated; there is no hazard to system data or integrity. The
simulations are exact, providing a very realistic feel for the
product itself and an effective way to quickly become productive in
the OS/2 2.1 environment. Simulations are written in a unique and
powerful authoring language, created specially to take advantage of
Presentation Manager (R) features and functions.
