  52.            MACHINE REQUIREMENTS:  Lotus SmartSuite for OS/2 requires an Intel
  53.            386, or higher, that is approved for OS/2 2.0.
  54.                   Minimum 8MB of RAM.  High density 3.5-inch disk drive
  55.            required.
  56.                   Installations of all products requires a minimum of 23MB of
  57.            hard disk space.  Additional space required for installation of
  58.            optional features.
  59.            PROGRAMMING REQUIREMENTS:  This licensed program requires OS/2 2.0
  60.            with ServicePak, or higher.  OS/2 2.1 required for cc:Mail.
  61.            COMPATIBILITY:  Lotus SmartSuite for OS/2 is designed for use with
  62.            networks that support OS/2 2.0, including IBM OS/2 LAN Server
  63.            Version 3.0.

  179.                Copy upgrade.  The ICA must be in effect.  The customer also has
  180.                the option of ordering a Proof of Additional License Upgrade
  181.                certificate.  In which case, the ICA is not required.
  182.            IBM EDUCATION FULFILLMENT CENTER:  The announced program is eligible
  183.            to be ordered through the IBM Education Fulfillment Center.  Note
  184.            that availability through the IBM Education Fulfillment Center may
  185.            not coincide with the programming availability dates in other
  186.            sections of this document.
  187.                   The IBM Education Fulfillment Center is the order processing
  188.            location for selected Personal Computers and related
  189.            hardware/software for eligible education end-users.
  190.            PROGRAM UPGRADE
  191.                   The program package upgrade option allows currently licensed
  192.            users of any competing product, to obtain the new function for a
  193.            program upgrade charge.  The program upgrade to Lotus SmartSuite for
  194.            OS/2 is available beginning December 24, 1993.  Orders will be
  195.            accepted after December 24, 1993.  These upgrades will be available
  196.            through IBM Authorized Personal Computer Dealers and Industry
  197.            Remarketers -- Personal Computers certified to market IBM Authorized
  198.            Advanced Products.  The remarketer will require a Proof of License
  199.            for each upgrade ordered.
  200.                   Customers may also order upgrades through the local IBM office
  201.            using the IBM PERSONAL COMPUTER/SYSTEM PROGRAM IBM U.S. UPGRADE AND
  202.            CERTIFICATION ORDER FORM included with this announcement.
  203.                   To receive program package upgrades at a discount, the ICA and
  204.            a volume discount addendum with the appropriate volume discount
  205.            exhibit must be in effect.
  206.                   The order may only be placed through the local IBM office
  207.            using the IBM Personal Computer/System Program IBM US Upgrade and
  208.            Certification Order Form included with this announcement.
  209.                   To receive additional license upgrades at a discount, the ICA
  210.            and a volume discount addendum with the appropriate volume discount
  211.            exhibit must be in effect.  The total quantity of upgrades acquired
  212.            for a specific program may not exceed the total quantity of program
  213.            packages and additional licenses previously acquired for that
  214.            program.  Proof of License for upgrade eligibility for additional
  215.            license upgrades is a copy of this invoice or previously acquired
  216.            Proof of Additional License certificate.
  217.                   Additional license upgrades can be entered through the local
  218.            IBM office using the IBM US Upgrade and Certification Order Form
  219.            included in this announcement or ordered through an authorized
  220.            remarketer.
  221.            TERMS AND CONDITIONS
  222.            LICENSING:  The program in this announcement is licensed under the
  223.            terms and conditions of the IBM Program License Agreement.  A copy of
  224.            the agreement is included in the program package.
  225.            ADDITIONAL LICENSE:  The ICA must be in effect, or Proof of
  226.            Additional License certificate must be acquired.
  227.            LIMITED WARRANTY:
  228.            o   Program:  Yes.  Media:  Three months.

  230.            PROGRAM SERVICES:  Central Service, including the IBM Support Center,
  231.            will be available during the first 90 days following the date of the

  235.            VOLUME DISCOUNT:  Volume discounting is available under the terms and
  236.            conditions of the IBM Customer Agreement (ICA) and the Exhibit for

  239.            Computer/System Programs.  They may be added to the applicable
  240.            category in the space provided on the Eligible Program List.  Program
