OS/2 2.x Books
--------------
Compiled by Mark Chapman, IBM PC Company. Updates made in the IBM PS
Marketing Assistant, available on the IBM PC Company BBS for downloading.
Many people are interested in finding out more about using or
programming OS/2. In addition to the manuals written by IBM and
Microsoft, there are a number of books written by others that are
available through libraries, bookstores, and computer retailers. The
following is but a sampling of these; just enough to get you started. It
is by no means intended to be an exhaustive list, nor is it an
endorsement by IBM of any of the books or authors. Publication dates are
provided in most cases. (All but a dozen or so are available as of June
1993).
Note: Many of the books listed below may be ordered by calling
800-3IBM-OS2, using the 4-digit Item Number in parentheses after the
description.
