  6. Custom Design Software sells a number of OS/2 software programs of interest to 
  7. OS/2 users. The programs are developed using Watcom's VX-REXX, a programming 
  8. language that makes use of OS/2's internal programming language called REXX.

  10. These programs can be ordered directly from Custom Design Software or can be 
  11. found in demo form on many popular BBS's specializing in OS/2 shareware such as 
  12. OS/2 Shareware BBS, Fernwood and others. These demo programs can also be found 
  13. on Compuserve in the OS2USER conference in LIB 4.

  37. Custom Design Software's Address Manager let's you store phone numbers and 
  38. addresses. Names are stored alphabetically and easily retrieved by clicking on 
  39. one of the alpha buttons. Below is a sample of what Address Manager looks like 
  40. when an address is displayed.

  42.  Any address that is displayed in Address Manager can be sent to the OS/2 
  43. Clipboard by clicking on the "Clip" button. From there it can be pasted into 
  44. any document you are editing.

  51. GetInfs  is a program that catalogues the INF files that you have on your 
  52. system.

  54. The use of INF files is becoming very popular with OS/2 software distributors 
  55. and many OS/2 programs now come with INF files. Using GetInfs you can easily 
  56. create a listbox of all the INF files on your system and view any of them by 
  57. selecting them from GetInfs' listbox.

  64. Noted! is a program that let's you store and organize notes. Notes are stored 
  65. under various user-defined topics and are easily added to with the click of a 
  66. button. Notes can be printed out and can be viewed with any OS/2 editor you 
  67. choose to use. There is no limit to the number of topics you can setup or the 
  68. number of notes you can append to each topic.

  70. The date and time each note is entered is stored with the note. 
  71.  
  72. Noted! comes in two flavours - a smaller and larger sized window so that you 
  73. can choose which one you want to use. Both are functionally the same and will 
  74. work with the same data files so you can use one or the other. Below is a 
  75. picture of how the large windowed version of Noted!  looks:

  82. Electronic Mail Networks have become a source of unrivalled up-to-date 
  83. information. If the term "information overload" ever applied to anything it 
  84. certainly applies to e-mail networks. 
  85.  
  86. Topics - The E-Mail Librarian  is a program that let's the user catalogue and 
  87. store information he or she has gleaned while reading electronic mail messages. 
  88.  
  89. Topics sits on the OS/2 desktop along side your electronic mail reader. As you 
  90. read through your e-mail messages you can quickly highlight lines and copy 
  91. those lines to the OS/2 Clipboard. Jump to Topics and you can paste that 
  92. information into Topics under user defined topics. In this way the user can 
  93. easy keep track of important information found on the e-mail networks he or she 
  94. participates in.

  96. Information that is saved can be easily retrieved for later reference. 
  97.  
  98. Topics will work with any mail reader that allows you to highlight and copy 
  99. information to the Clipboard. It is being used by users who use FrontDoor's 
  100. Editor, Golden Commpass and other mail readers. 
  101.  
  102. Topics comes in two flavours. Both versions are provided in the same package. 
  103. Each version performs the same way, except one occupies less screen space than 
  104. the other (the window is smaller). Below is an example of what the smaller 
  105. windowed version looks like.

  107. If you have already copied text from an e-mailer reader/editor to the Clipboard 
  108. and you wanted to store the information under a particular topic, you'd select 
  109. the topic from the list of topics and then click on the "Add Msg Text" button. 
  110. That information would be added to the particular topic you selected.

  112. There is no limit on the number of topics you can setup.

  122. Zip Viewer is a frontend ZIP and LZH viewer and extractor. It works with two 
  123. OS/2 archive programs: UNZIP501 and LH/2 Select the ZIP or LHARC file that you 
  124. want to view through a file dialogue box. View the archived file's contents. 
  125. Double click on the file name you wish to extract and Zip Viewer extracts that 
  126. file from the archive.

  129. resolution.
