  17.  AUSTIN, Texas, Oct. 26, 1994 ...A story in today's Boston Globe on                                                                 
  18.  IBM's OS/2 Warp inaccurately implied that a bug found during                                                                       
  19.  manufacturing would significantly delay availability of the product in                                                             
  20.  retail outlets.  During ongoing quality control checks, a minor                                                                    
  21.  installation problem was discovered and fixed during the manufacturing                                                             
  22.  process, before volume shipments of the product began.  This minor                                                                 
  23.  fix caused minimal interruption to the manufacturing process and                                                                   
  24.  OS/2 Warp will be initially available next week as planned, with                                                                   
  25.  wide availability by November 4.  IBM is confident that customers will                                                             
  26.  be delighted with the overall quality, performance and impressive new                                                              
  27.  features in the new release of OS/2, IBM's award-winning 32-bit
